Care Instructions for Medical mats
Failure to follow care instructions may void the warranty.
For non-hospital environments, clean with water and a damp sponge or cloth. If you have a sticky or greasy spill you may use a mild soap (such as dish washing detergent) and water with a damp sponge or cloth. Do not use any other household cleansers such as, but not limited to, window cleaners, floor cleaners, polishes, or all purpose cleaners. For in-hospital environments, GelPro® Medical Mats may be cleaned with a low-level, hospital grade disinfectant cleaner which kills blood-borne pathogens. We recommend using 3M™ or Ecolab® HB Quat Disinfectant Cleaner, diluted and dispensed as prescribed in the cleaner's general use directions, or a cleaning agent similar in composition.

DO NOT clean with a power vacuum cleaner. The high speed rotating brush can damage the surface of the mat.
DO NOT use hot water extraction, steam cleaning, or high pressure water/air, as they could damage the mat.
DO NOT fold the mat as this can cause permanent damage.
DO NOT place furniture or equipment on the GelPro® Medical Mat. Permanent indentions on mat may occur.
Take caution when using your GelPro® Medical Mat in wet or damp environments or stepping on the mat with wet feet. Surface traction decreases and the mat may be slippery when your feet are wet.
DO NOT allow water/liquid to become trapped under the GelPro® Medical Mat. If any moisture/liquid becomes trapped under a GelPro® Medical Mat, it may not dry and, therefore, it should be removed as soon as possible. When mopping your floor, please ensure that your floor has completely dried before replacing the mat. Prolonged exposure to moisture/liquid trapped under the GelPro® Medical Mat may cause mold/mildew and/or damage to your mat and some types of flooring surfaces.
