GelPro Basketweave Mat

As most women, I spend 90% of my time in the kitchen. We just moved into a house that has hardwood flooring. I have never had a house before with hardwood floors, but let me tell you, it isn’t the softest thing to stand on. I had the opportunity to try out the GelPro Basketweave Gel Mat in Chestnut. Although the Basketweave Gel Mats come in six different colors, I chose the Chestnut color, because it was the closest color to match our kitchen. Although the basketweave mat has the appearance of interwoven leather strips, it is actually a one-piece high performance coated textile. I was excited to review my mat and put it into some good use. First off, the mat isn’t flimsy or poor quality. The mat was very heavy, which I liked. I was tried of using flimsy mats in the kitchen. Especially the mats with the cute designs, but fabric that will cut your feet open. The GelPro mat was very stylish and fit perfectly with the colors we are using in our kitchen.

After hearing all the raves about the GelPro mat, I couldn’t wait to put my feet on it. My gosh, this is the most comfortable mat I have ever stuck my size 6 feet onto. Not only does it relieve the burning sensation you get in your feet when you stand too long, but it also helps your back. I was able to cook and do dishes in ease. I did move the mat from the sink to the stove each time I was wanting to use it. I will more than likely be investing in another GelPro mat. The mat is non-slippery and stain-resistant, which is great for people like me. I have a tendency to drop eggs and other food products onto the floor. The mat was easy to wipe up and I didn’t have to worry about falling while in my socks.
